  • Living with full condition of Sickle Cell or Thalassaemia.
  • Have family or friends living with this illness.
  • Are living with Sickle Cell or Thalassaemia traits.

The project is currently funded by Children in Need and provides opportunities including opportunities during half term holidays for young people to come together from different backgrounds and communities within the Birmingham area to:

  • Socialise and make friends.
  • Build Support Networks.
  • Have access to social, educational and recreational trips and activities.
  • Attend workshops on mentoring, nutrition, health, managing condition and coping strategies.

If you are a young person, professional or family member wishing to access the project, then you can contact a member of our team on 0121 212 9209 or email admin@oscarbirmingham.org.uk.
