Befriending and Peer Support Service is supported by Birmingham City Council and BVSC. This is a free city wide service aimed at adults, including their friend's and carers living with Sickle Cell and/or Thalassaemia Blood Disorder, who may be experiencing loneliness and social isolation.
We provide support sessions and opportunities for citizens to come together with lived experiences, to connect, share, and learn new ways to better manage their health and wellbeing.
